Maybe D Rose will return sometime in the next few years to play alongside him.

Honestly, I don't get his appeal. He's a ball hog who can make difficult shots, but does not play any defense and slows down any offensive philosophy to isolation ball.

The Rockets signing Carmelo doesn't make much sense to me. They're a phenomenal offensive team, but they need help on defense. How does signing Carmelo help that situation? Not to mention you have to give him a max and then you're extremely limited on the role players you can get.

One of the biggest myths in the NBA today. He's not a great defender by any means, but he's not Steve Nash out there. He can defend well, he just doesn't do it that consistently. Chicago would be perfect for him.

Another myth.

Seriously do you people actually watch any of his games or just let ESPN tell you all your info in bite sized portions?

He lead the NBA in shot attempts playing on a team with the second slowest pace.

They're really not. They lead the league in PPG, but that's because their pace is so high. While they are still a good offensive team, they aren't as amazing as the numbers look.

Their main problem is that their half-court offense is very average. Carmelo would give them another scoring option in the half-court, which also would help a lot in the playoffs.

When Harden would rest on the bench, the Rockets REALLY struggled in the half-court. They run a free-flowing offense and sometimes when it's not being run smoothly, you need an ISO player like Harden to bail you out. If the Rockets had Carmelo in the game when Harden was on the bench and vice versa, there would always be somebody who can score in the half-court on the floor.

Half court offense team and he was their only reliable option this year. Their next best scorer is/was JR Smith and he was complete arse this past season. He had no help so of course he was going to take more shots. If you are by far the best and by far the most reliable option on your team, your take a lot of shots. Same thing happened with LeBron in Cleveland, but at least he had some decent shooters to pass the ball too.
