This was the big picture most people couldn't see, it's the reason why I didn't get upset about this match up with Chavez. It was a Cinco de Mayo fight.

Tonight was De La Hoya cashing out before he was forced to make the Golovkin fight. Tonight's fight would've even made big money 5 years ago. It wouldn't make money if Alvarez lost to Golovkin.

As a Mexican I've always known that Chavez couldn't hold Alvarez jock... I don't know why canelo let Chavez hang around.. imo triple G will knock canelo out.. I just don't see canelo last.

Canelo will beat GGG. Brook and Jacobs exposed what was already known to most boxing fans. GGG hadn't been tested until Jacobs. There's a reason his team avoided Ward fight at 168
