Canelo vs Chavez Jr. - May 6th

Wanted to start this thread so people who
weren't aware of this fight coming up might watch. I also wanted to start a good boxing thread as it is my favorite sport still. Even though Canelo is seemingly picking a mismatch in Chavez it's obvious Junior is actually motivated for this fight making it interesting. This is for the pride of Mexico and both hate each other. The winner of this fight will also most likely fight GGG.. Which would be fun no matter who wins this.
It will be live on HBO Pay Per View this Saturday Night.

Yeah he needs to be more active though now. He only fights like twice a year now and this is his prime. I want to see him as much as I can before he gets old.

This a shite fight. Canela should be fighting GGG. Chavez at this weight and age will get beat pretty handily. No way would I pay for this plus the undercard is arse. No thanks.

The mere fact that Chavez is in shape will make this a more competitive fight than expected. His problem has always been laziness.

He is going to look like a dead man come the weigh in. That is a flattering pic to say the least. I will look for some other pics. Dude is big and was having a hard time making weight before when he was younger. shite fight is shite fight.

Not sure you how much you know about boxing but the older that boxers get the harder it is for them to make weight. He looks like death in the pic I posted. Dude needs to be fighting at 175.

Without a doubt he should be fighting GGG. But this will still be a good grudge match type fight with two stand there and fight Mexicans.

I would not be surprised. Jr. is going to be a zombie going to the ring on Saturday. I don't care how much lip service he plays. All he has is size over canela and he doesn't even use it effectively. Dumb arse fight. Period.
