Fight is good, but 2 of the 3 judges are blind.

Lol Golden Boy hype job is working. Two of those scores are laughable. You can make a solid case for Trout to be ahead in this fight yet according to two judges, he's getting blown out

114-113 Trout, on my card.

Even score going into 12th round, and Canelo did frick all in the round. Thanks, open scoring!

No matter the scores it was a great fight and I thought Canelo deserved the decision.

Yea I think Canelo won, but it was a lot closer than those judges' cards...two scores were interesting to say the least

That 118-109 score is a damn shame. It was close and it could have gone either way.

I'm just glad Trout's loud-mouth fiancee got shut up!

I had 115-113 Alvarez. Right winner, wrong scores. Deserves a rematch with a closed sscoring. Telling them scores mid fight ruined it.

I agree that the open scoring made for a worse fight. I'm not really interested in a Trout-Canelo rematch, though.

My phone died before I got to the alamodome, haha. Not one damn picture!

The crowd was electric!!! As I mentioned earlier in the thread, walking around San Antonio before the fight seemed to be 75/25 Canelo fans. But in the dome, it seemed to be 90/10. Those Mexicans were loud & rowdy too! It was fun.

Seeing that fight live gave me a little more respect for judges. You had 40 thousand Mexicans yelling at the top of their lungs every time Canelo would land just a jab or dodge a punch. So in those close rounds, I could see how an inexperienced judge could get swayed into giving one particular fighter a close round just because of crowd reaction.

Above the noise, I kept telling my friend that this fight will be closer than what the crowd thinks. Canelo would go 1-2 minutes in some rounds without throwing punches. So I couldn't give him those rounds even though the crowd was going insane whenever he just dodged a punch, like I just mentioned.

Edit: submitted the post on accident before I finished. Umm, the one judge who had it 118-109 or some shite like that was dead wrong. I could see 116-111, which one judge had. It was a close fight

Awesome fight. Mexicans were rocking the AlamoDome last night.
