They should try to lure a good basketball coach instead of Cal

Why do you think he would be a good NBA coach?

I guess someone does not remember the Nets being 72-112 with Cal?

I don't think Cal is interested in the NBA. I could be wrong though. But I doubt it.

I wouldn't doubt it. Pelicans are a legit destination now. Not only for coaches, but I bet they get a big wing player in the offseason. Next season they might be pretty good. Athleticism will be nice.

They need to re-sign Boogie first.

He's probably not going anywhere until his son graduates.

His son is in his freshman year at UK. He's not going anywhere until he graduates.

Cal is a pretty good X and O coach.

Cal is the best recruiter the sport has ever seen.

He can't out talent people as much in the league. I think he'd be an average NBA coach.

What do you think the Cavs have been doing since LeBron entered the league?

I'm not sure he would be successful in the NBA at the highest level, but there could be optimism given he wouldn't have to use that simple DDM system with full time players who don't leave year-over-year.

This is a solid point.
