their best player has been consistently hurt the last several years.

no team is going to go far when something like that happens.

Dude, they have overachieved in the playoffs more than any other team during Thibs' tenure.

I saw you make a similar argument for the Grizz against GSW just this morning....

It what realm is that the same argument? Did Dave Joerger suddenly start overplaying players? Did Joerger's minute distribution cause Conley to break his face?

They had a player finish 4th in the MVP voting last season and win DPOY. They got knocked out by the Wizards in like 5 or 6 in the first round.

Anyway, the Bulls are dysfunctional, but 2 series wins in your lost 4 appearances (In the EAST) will get ya fired from good orgs

@HPbasketball
I’ve thought the Bulls lacked a playoff gear, Thibs ran them down, was reckless with players’ career health, and limited offensively.

I'm not a crazy person...

Pau averaged under 32 minutes per game in the playoffs. Yet again, fact doesn't fit the parroted argument.

Great, their best player and biggest scoring threat was still not on the floor for massive chunks of the last several years and was not able to go for the playoffs last year. Noah isn't going to carry a team in the playoffs and you know it.

If you can't recognize how the loss of Rose has really put them in a bind the last several years I don't even know what the point of talking to you about this is b/c you clearly live in a 2K induced fantasy land and know frick all about basketball.

Sounds like a personal problem, but I'll do my best to help you.

You are arguing that Pau got hurt because Thibs rode him too hard. I pointed out that his counterpart (and brother) on the Teddy Bears played more playoff minutes than him. This illustrates that minutes were not the cause of his injury, just like they weren't the cause of Rose's injury.

He's a good coach. I just no longer think he is top 5-10 coach like I did in the past.

You think Tom Thibodeau would make the best assistant coach in the league. Well, no shite. He's been one of the top head coaches in the league the past 5 years. He has also dealt with a myriad of injuries during his tenure to very key players.

You ask what does he have to show for it? How many teams over the past 5 years were able to beat the Heat out of the Eastern Conference? That says more about Miami and their stacked teams opposed to Thibs' coaching abilities.

Thibs is the NBA version of Tom Coughlin... without the rings and in a league where parity is less prevalent. Thibs is a great coach... but his style doesn't suit everyone.

I made a joke. That is why was included.

You pointed out that a 30 year old who has basically been injured once in his entire career and is in the best shape of his life played more minutes than a 34 year old that has spent the better part of 3 straight seasons in LA dealing with injury after injury.

This illustrates that minutes were not the cause of his injury, just like they weren't the cause of Rose's injury.

No, but you could point to his dropoff of production in the playoffs

A top coach would win more than two playoff series in a historically bad conference.
