Bulls' tweet about Thibs release.

All class from management...

I honestly have no clue. I just had the Bulls as a league pass team this season and Thibs has really fallen down my favorite coaches ranks.

at Reinsdorf still trying to push the organization as the reason for the Bulls past success and not the players/coaches.

Probably the most parroted NBA line of the last 2 years. Frankly, the Bulls have not had any more injury problems than the majority of teams. You take out Rose and they have been pretty healthy.

You can be healthy and overworked. Come playoff time their main guys are fricked.

He does some really odd things. For all of his accomplishments on the defensive end Chicago's offense is painful to watch at times. He also gives LEGIT crunch time minutes to Kirk freaking Hinrich.

Yeah I think Thibs would easily be the best assistant in the league. I am just not as sure about him as a HC as I was in the past.

I'd just take a chance at Gentry.

Tom Thibodeau was fired by the Bulls despite a win percentage of .647 in the last five seasons. The only teams who won at a better clip were the Spurs, Thunder and Heat.

Definitely questionable head coaching material.

Except you don't really get to take out Rose just because it suits the point you're trying to make.

Not worried about the pelicans offense at all. We'll be fine there

We greatly need to improve our defense.

You think the Rose injuries are due to him being overworked?

Freak injuries, so leaving him in seems pretty silly

Not over Hoiberg, Thibs and JVG. No chance.

Who were the only two Cavs playoff losses against this postseason?

Bulls lucked out in one of those.

And what do they have to show for that? Like one conference finals appearance in a historically bad conference.

He's a good coach. I just no longer think he is top 5-10 coach like I did in the past.

Their superstar broke. Not sure what else you can expect from the bulls with an often inured Rose

Bulls were up 2-1 and then Gasol got hurt.

I'm not sure if this makes a good case for Thibs or a bad one
