Holiday ($2)
Oladipo ($2)
Leonard ($5)
Mirotic ($1)
Davis($5)

I consider this a good group of two way players.

Just so every one realizes according to this game the Warriors are at like $18 with the Hampton lineup.

LeBron - 6
Ben Simmons - 2
Klay Thompson - 3
Kristaps Porzingis 2
Donovan Mitchell - 2

Basically LeBron and Klay as the 2 veterans and 3 young guys to be role players

Team would have plenty of length on defense and no shortage of scoring power

That being said I'm not an NBA coach and have no idea how this group would work together

think Simmons is a poor choice in these scenario. If you have your pick of the league you would be making a mistake not talking 5 good shooters.

Dude is running thru wide open lanes with shooters around him. Golden State makes it work with Draymond as a facilitator & he isn’t nearly the ball handler Simmons is. He can’t shoot very well either. He can’t nearly get to the goal like Simmons

It’s ok to have one guy that can’t shoot if he can score in the lane at will, great passer & really good rebounder

When you have LeGOAT leading your team, generally it translates to winning and 3x championships

That would be a fun spin-off. What would be the best starting 5 of $1 guys to possibly compete.

PG CJ McCollum
SG Jamal Murray
SF Brandon Ingram
PF Aaron Gordon
C Myles Turner

lets run!

This game is basically an IQ test. If you don't pick up Simmons at 2 dollars you're too stupid to breathe.

The value is too good to pass up

Draymond Green is a career 32.7% three point shooter.

Ben Simmons didn’t make a single one last year. He’s legitimately one of the worst shooters in the league. You can find value in someone else in this exercise while also getting a threat from the outside

And he has shot 30% from 3 the last 2 years. That is the territory where you start saying you shouldn’t shoot them at all.

Simmons made 54% of his field goals which is insane for any perimeter player. I don’t care if he can’t shoot. Put 3 guys that can shoot around him & he goes nuts

You trying to win it all or build a future? Thought the idea was to compete. It’s not only his cost, but the value given up by using him as one of your 5 players and the fact that having him and Lebron on the same team makes no sense. Not taking Lebron is the moron play.

I don’t know if I’d label Simmons a perimeter player. He’s also currently on a team with a lot of good to great shooters and just lost in five games to an underdog missing their two best players.

Really what do you call a point guard?

He’s on a team that improved by 24 wins just by having him for a full season.

And let’s not act like JJ redick & Dario saric are comparable to the players you can pair him with in this mythical exercise

Meaning he isn’t the kind of dude when your thinking of guarding on the perimeter and playmaker or shooting out there.

Simmons is a 6’10 pg who plays like a 6’10 pg not a 6’4 pg. He does all his damage offensively from inside the perimeter.

Simmons is great but for this Hypo give me five guys that can shoot.

I'm higher on Simmons than most, but he's not a no brainer in this exercise.

If you're building for the future, he's a given.
