well, since Miami is not keeping cole and chalmers, i think it does.

Lowry would have at least held his own vs the Spurs - Chalmers, on the other hand, was the weakest link on the entire floor and the MAIN reason the series was so lopsided.

I don't get why Miami wanted Napier so much if they're going after Lowry AND if they keep Cole or Chalmers.

Chalmers shot himself right off of this team during the regular season.

How would Miami have the space to sign Carmelo after this?

blaming one player for getting blitzkrieged by that much better of a team

IF bosh leaves and if/when Bron and Wade restructure their contracts.

umm, if you read, I said Chalmers was the "weakest link" - which he was (undoubtedly). the difference between last years finals and this years: mario chalmers vs parker/ginobli.

What would Lowry be projected to receive?

I'm just asking because Carmelo reportedly wants to get max money and I don't understand how he would get close to that even with LBJ and Wade restructuring their contracts and adding Lowry.

His ppg in the playoffs went down from 9+ a year ago to 6+. Went an entire month without scoring in double figures.

I dont think Lowry would've made that much of a different vs. this years Spurs.

They were just that fricking good.

Maybe Love will say "I'm not re-signing with anyone except miami"

some random team like GSW pulls the trade hoping to re-sign him.

Love pulls a dwight and signs elsewhere at his first shot at FA

just 1 year

Miami would probably try to get him to come play for as little as they can but his market value is probably around $10 million annually.

not saying Miami would have won, because thats absolutely silly, but Lowry would have been fn huge.

Lowry doesn't change the fact that the Heat bench was non-existent, while the Spurs bench went nuts when they came into the game.

Yeah I don't see Lowry as the missing piece here. The Heat still would have gotten rolled in the Finals

*sigh* - Im not suggesting that Lowry was the "one" missing piece - but he would have made a significant difference over, quite possibly, the worst starting PG in the league.
