Why would Bosh do that? To get a max deal?

It's not like Mario was on the court for 30 plus minutes a night. There is plenty of blame to go around for Miami's poor performance, including to LeBron.

BTW, if this deal goes through, I'd like to point out that I said it'd be in Bosh's best interest to go back to Toronto.

With Lowry they would have someone that can break down a defense and get into the paint

It was painfully obvious that LBJ was the only guy they had that could do that

isnt that kinda proving my point? The heat did not have the option to play a PG for considerable minutes. Getting a guy, like Lowry, who can defend, penetrate, and rebound consistently would have been nice vs the Spurs

Chalmers is average at everything and excels at nothing.

The Heat's best line up is/was Wade, Allen, LeBron, Battier, and Bosh anyways. I don't know why y'all are making Mario Chalmers out to be the scapegoat when is like the 6th most important player on the team.

Lebron is going to take the League minimum , so heat can sign who ever they want.

I've been talking to heat fans around the Miami area, and telling them I don't know if there is an answer to Miami in the short term at the 4/5. I thought maybe a plug is Pau Gasol. He would prob take a lot less money at this point in his career to go to a winner, pair him with LBJ Wade potentially Melo/Bosh, and you have a great starting group. They need to get 4 bench guys who are 25-29 who can play hard for 15 minutes a game

Exactly, they should make a pact to opt out and resign for less then give Wade the old okie doke and be rid of him. Take the PR hit this summer and the title next.

No one is saying the Heat would have won if they had Lowry instead of Chalmers. They are saying they would have had a chance. Chalmers averaged 3 pts per game during the finals and ended up getting benched.

I think you're a year behind. Battier hardly even played in the finals. His game decreased drastically this year.

and lol at yall thinking the Heat would get rid of Wade. He's their best player in franchise history. He will retire there.

because your primary ball-handler shouldnt be the "6th most important player on the team"

i have nothing against the guy, but he plays at the deepest position in the NBA and does not excel at any one particular skill. his job is basically "dont get in the way" -

So the Heat are getting rid of their second best player for Lowry.

If I am Lebron I am going somewhere else.

Didn't Melo already name the teams he plans to visit. And the Heat weren't on the list?
