As he should.

He doesn't deserve MVP though.

Brees and Manning deserve it more. Hell you could make a case for Rivers as well.

Pretty meh year with no one (or two) superstars outshining the rest. You could make a case for a handful of others

Not really. Brady was clearly first. He has not thrown a pick since he had short hair, led the Pats to 14 wins with a bunch of scrappy players, and a 36 TD's and only 4 INT's.

Wouldn't have changed anything. Its not like he can will his WRs to catch the ball and get open.

They did drop 45 just a few weeks before on the same defense.

Great player, completely deserving of the award. He just better send his Olinemen on a nice, long vacation as a thank you, because of all the elite QBs, Brady struggles the most when blocking breaks down.

You really think Brees deserves MVP over Brady? Brees had more than 5x the INTs as Brady, less TDs, and a 91 QB rating compared to Brady's 111.

You keep saying that. I don't get it, he had horrid protection at times and still only threw 4 picks this year. Dan Connolly is not a starting quality guard, and was destroyed repeatedly.

Brady doesn't do the crazy shite that Big Ben or Brees sometimes does, but a lot of the time he doesn't have to because he makes subtle movements in the pocket and can read defenses like a book.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

I watched probably 10-12 Pats games this year and all I saw was Brady sitting still in the pocket without guys coming close to him most games.

He took sacks here and there but I think it's not because he faced more pressure but because he can't escape pressure like a Brees or Rodgers can.

"Horrid protection" is what Brees faced against the falcons. He only took 1 sack, i think, but that was about as bad as it gets. And I'm fairly certain Brady never saw anything close to that this season. Hell, against the Jets, the pressure wasn't THAT bad.

Brees lost arguably his best offensive weapon for the majority of the year and had to deal with a rookie running back.

Manning had 7 different running backs take snaps this year and none of them got over 500 yards rushing; the Patriots had one over a thousand and another over 500. Brady didn't lose his weapons to injuries like Manning and Brees did or even Rivers did. Face it, Brady is in offense system that allows quarterbacks to rack up numbers. Hell Cassel performed a counthair under what Brady had performed and no one is touting him as greatness. Manning has been the glue for Indianapolis since they haven't had a running game worth a shite since before Edge left (he wasn't really the same after his injuries anyways) and his best offensive lineman has been fricking Jeff Saturday. Brees has had it slightly better off, but even then, he didn't have it as easy as Brady did this year.

What QB isn't in a system? Its such a dumb argument. Aaron Rodgers isn't in a system with all his fantastic WRs? Big Ben isn't in a system where teams have to worry about the power run game? Drew Brees isn't in a system with an offensive genius in Sean Payton? The system argument is as tired as it is old and annoying.
