Bobby Petrino- Is UL his last stop as HC?

Does Bobby stay content with making UL a power? ACC provides a nice path to the playoffs but Bobby has been know as a hopper and a-hole that wears out his welcome at places. He is in a really good spot but does he stay at UL long term?

He's proven to jump ship when the call comes, he will do it again. Snakes shed their skin, but they are still snakes.

Predicting where he's going to be one year from now is as hard as predicting his play calls.

I think it should be, Bobby just fits there and he's fully capable of championships there.

i think UL put some serious language in his contract that prevents him from jumping ship for the most part

Who knows, but Petrino and UL are made for one another.

I think everything that's happened with him, he's content at Louisville. You never know though the dude is a prick.

If LSU doesn't get one of:
-Petrino
-Herman
-Jimbo
I'd be disappointed as an LSU fan.

I think he will just stay there.

I agree. Those would be my top 3. Can't believe I'm actually saying that about Petrino. I doubt he leaves though.

He's so toxic that the only schools that would take him are schools that would sell their souls to win.
Established winners (Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, USC, Oklahoma, etc.) wouldn't touch him. They'll win with or without him.
Schools with no winning culture or identity (Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Colorado, etc.) either don't care enough to make a serious run at him, or wouldn't be considered by him in the first place. Most of those schools would invest the $ in other sports or don't want to win so bad that they want to associate with him.
The "new money" programs who have a lot invested in their football infrastructure and who would sell their left nut to keep winning would absolutely make a run at him. How many of them are there? These are the ones I can think of:
Baylor
Oregon
Miami
Ole Miss
Oklahoma State
TCU
Florida State
Arkansas (oops)
(yes, I know that Ole Miss and TCU could be considered "old money," but they pretty much went broke with decades of mediocrity)

I mean he left Louisville for an obvious upgrade with the Falcons. He loses his QB for dog fighting decides this sucks and goes to Arkansas. He was fired from Arkansas. He left WKU for an obvious upgrade.
Louisville is a good bit different now since it is an ACC school. If he got offered a premier job I wouldn't think it was crazy if he left.

I absolutely DON'T want Petrino at LSU. No way. No how.
If I didn't live 2 national championships in my lifetime, I might say differently.
That being said, I don't think LSU is an auto-pilot program. We've seen them pick bad coaches and have the program go to shite in my lifetime too.

I think he stays. Bobby was meant to wear that old english L hat.

I would take Petrino at LSU.

He is in a P5 conference at a place where he can win. I don't see him leaving.

Yes this will be his last stop. He isn't going anywhere this time
