We will see, I don't think the show will do well. The hardcore stool fans won't like it being censored and the sjw espn people will freak out about the rest of bar stool.

I wouldn't be surprised if more of a blend came. I don't fault them at all for it, but when you take the big time deal you become more pc. Hell it happened with TD the more sponsors you get the more you have to ban edgy posters

I don't think they'll work well on tv. They filled a void of good national radio host. Everyone has plenty of shite to watch on tv.

You say that like there’s not a sports talk TV show void.

Yea plus different audience and the additional censorship of just being on tv not to mention espn. I have noticed stool getting slightly more political lately

Btw PMT is pretty safe overall they aren't real controversial and they don't really take shots at people or anything like that. They are the most PC thing at barstool already, they already don't really say frick/shite etc that often.

I thought they were great when they cohosted with Ryen and if they can find a way to do the show and continue the podcast then sign me the hell up. The only bad PMT is less PMT

I think it will affect the podcast as well. Doing a nightly show plus a podcast might be too much of a workload. Plus the podcast isn't done in a vacuum. If they stir up some sjw's on their podcast, they know their show will be in jeopardy. I think it would be natural to be a little safer on the podcast in order to protect the TV show.

Yea I don’t want this. Sounds like it won’t affect the podcast though.

Obviously it affects the pod. Do you think ESPN wants an employee doing Hey JJ?

They already don't do uhh hey JJ anymore and I highly doubt ESPN gives a frick about them doing Uhh hey JJ

What's controversial about uhh hey JJ?

I know they don't do it anymore, but per the JJ Watt episode it really pissed him off. I just don't think their schtick translates to mass media.

People have a serious distortion of how controversial PMT actually is

Zero chance ESPN allows this but thinking about it is hilarious.

So many female ESPN emoloyees would sign some petition protesting it.

I don't think it's known as controversial. It just has a sense of anarchy to it. It reminds me of a TV show on Fox News years ago called Red Eye. Not controversial but just enough chaos to seem edgy.

PMT Exit Interview This isn't controversial but definitely something you probably "shouldn't" do on TV.

This is the thing. Anyone thinking the podcast will be the same after the influence of ESPN are in for a rude awakening.

There's still a pretty defined structure to it. Much less chaotic than Dan lebotards show.

Anyone who thinks ESPN will have any control over barstool content outside of the actual show they are producing, is in for a rude awakening
