I like a different #20

Barry Sanders

Though, from what I've seen, Earl was unreal as well.

It's a 3 way race between Payton, Brown, and my favorite, Sanders. I think if Barry had a line like a certain guy in Dallas he would have shredded the record books never to be broken.

I also like LT and AP a lot, but if I was starting a team right now I think I would choose Sanders in his prime with a great OL. I loved watching that dude run

people are laughing but Edge was underrated as frick.

Barry Sanders is the right answer, though.

Pure talent it's Bo.
Best to have an actual career, Barry Sanders.

As a Redskin fan it pains me to say Emmitt Smith, but he holds all the records. So I have to give the guy his due..

Edgerin James wasn't even the best to wear a Colts uniform. Eric Dickerson and Marshall Faulk were better running backs.

bo Jackson. he was by far the most talented rb I've ever seen. if his years weren't cut short, you would hear his name a lot more when talking about the best ever. that's for sure.

This. Can you imagine the yards BS would have if he was behind the line that Emmitt Smith had?

And the OP must still be in High School. No way he legitimately thinks James is the best otherwise.
