Yeah I'd prob go with the 50s. There's a freaking song about 2/3 of the outfield. And the other outfielder is the greatest hitter of all time.

60's and I don't think it's really all that close. You could easily add Mantle, Mathews, Rose into this decade

yea, if you move some of those 50's guys to the 60s team, that would be the team that would compete with the 90s. Truly the Golden Age of baseball.

Man, I keep coming back to that 60's team with Gibson and Kaufax. Those 2 guys could win 4 games in a best of 7. In addition, Juan Marichel had 6 20 game seasons in the 60's. Plus they have some freaking sticks in the lineup too.

60's was to pitching what the Steroid Era was to homeruns.
After the 60's, mound was lowered to try to help return hitting to baseball...Highlighted by the excellence of Denny McLain, who won 31 games for the Tigers, and also by Bob Gibson of the Cardinals, who pitched 13 shutouts and an ERA of 1.12. MLB’s top hitter, Carl Yastrzemski, batted .301 - the lowest batting champ in MLB history. During the 1968 season, over one-fifth of all MLB games were shutouts.
The rule was officially changed in 1969 from 15 inches to 10 inches.
At 15 inches, pitchers were told to “stand tall and fall.” With the change to 10 inches, it became “drop and drive.” The pitchers would drop down and push off from their right or left leg.

Would be even better if you replace Duke Snider with Willie Mays(won ROY in '51) 6 of your 8 everday starters have multiple MVPS

Good point. Plus the older teams would have a HUGE home field advantage. All of those '90s sluggers would have to watch Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente run down long fly balls that would never stay in a modern stadium.
It would also be fun to see a few 9-3 groundouts. Clemente was the master of that.

No juice, I'll take the 1950's team. This is assuming somehow that all these players were born around the same time such that clean training was up to modern standards.
