Do people really still think the only reason he's not on team is because of talent?
The scary thing is that this thread proves that for some people the answer to this question is yes.

It's pretty clear this is about 3 issues: trying not to piss off your fanbase, avoiding a media circus, and questions about whether or not Kap would be fully focused on football.

If he never did this protest there's no doubt he'd be on a team right now.

Two of those guys are no longer starting, one is a former MVP and face of the franchise, one should be replaced maybe the Jags should sign Kap.

Kaep looks really skinny to me now. I personally dont think he wants to play football. And the absolutely moronic tweet by his woman during negotiations with the ravens only furthers that belief in my mind

He only threw double digit INTs once, at 10. Career of 72 TDs and 30 INTs.

But because the power doesn't like him kneeling the poster thinks he'll go 2 TDs/14 INTs.

Just a tad biased.

Holy shite take an exaggeration more seriously

Tell yourself whatever you want.

I think the offense he does best is a specialized beast which has been figured out by opposing DCs and is different enough from a standard pro set that you can't just plug him into a starting position without growing pains.

It doesn't make him a worse QB as much as make it hard to find a good fit for him and I don't think most of the offenses with available positions right now are good fits for him.

Yea, at some point I'd like to see him or anyone else address that. Supposedly the Ravens were leaning towards taking him, then they complete shut down the idea the moment his girl made that tweet. I never quite understood the timing of that, I thought she tweeted after it was confirmed BAL didn't want him?

It isn't just about kneeling. Minus the Castro stuff he would have been a potential option in Miami. Maybe the Cutler history with his old OC/QB coach still gets him the job but Kaep flat out made himself near impossible to hire in Miami.

I don't know if Kaep belongs in the NFL as a starter at this point but it seems overwhelmingly likely he already would be if it weren't for all the stuff that went on last year.

I'm not saying he would light it up anywhere he went, I'm just saying that by talent alone he should have at the least been given a shot to prove himself given the lack of consistent QB play in the NFL.

And I'm not trying to act like this is some kind if injustice, actions have consequences. I just think it's ridiculous that people are trying to say the only reason he's not on a roster is that he isn't good when there are plenty of shitty QBs who are still on rosters.

There were rumors of the redskins, Broncos and Browns inquiring about him.

That doesn't happen if they don't think that you could start.

Sign him, please fricking do it. When he goes 0-5 with 2 TDs and 14 INT's we can finally end this fricking parade of bull shite.

His last season in SF he managed 16tds & 4 picks.

I wish someone would sign him, let him suck like my uncle at a truck stop, then release him. I dont give a flying frick if he kneels or stands on his head during the national anthem.

Why does everyone bring up his TD/INT ratio conveniently ignore his shitload of fumbles? Whole point of posting his lack of INTs is to try to prove he takes care of the ball, there's more than one way to commit a turnover. You're Also less likely to throw picks when you're running a JV offense and not attacking the middle of the field and throwing from the pocket like a real NFL offense.
