Damn dude he has more talent than everyone else. I'm not denying he's a good defensive mind, but shut the hell up with all this "scheme" stuff. He had waaaaaay better players than everyone else. Was his Michigan State defenses great?

I'll tweet Mark Barron and tell him that he is in fact wrong. Thanks

Gus Malzahn understands enough to hang 34 and 44 on Nick Saban's defense in back to back years with a defensive back at quarterback.

He can hang astronomical numbers up with a converted DB playing QB, but with QB's who have played the position their whole life, he can only score 1 TD.

, Saban doesn't run a complex system. He uses superior talent, not a superior system, especially not with the brains his players have.

He also spent two years on the bench, one in favor of talentless Trey Depriest.

Marcell Dareus has criticized his former coach, saying Ryan’s scheme was “too much detail for a lot of guys.”

Funny also how he's quoted saying it maybe too complex for a lot of guys and not specifically him. Scott insist on attacking Dareus though.

Marcell 4 years prior to Ryan
5.5 sacks as a rookie- the most for a Bills rookie since Aaron Schobel.
5.5 in his 2nd year
7.5 sacks his 3rd year
10 sacks his 4th.

So 28.5 sacks as an interior d-lineman. PFF ranked him 3rd among interior d-lineman.

With Ryan
2 sacks
3 sacks (only 7 games)

Bills also ranked as high as 4th one season prior to Ryan being hired. Since? Well they finished 15th in 2015 and rank 15th currently.

Surely we can't forget that Marcell spent Christmas Eve in '15 giving gifts to kids, spent Halloween this year at a charitble event, giving big on Thanksgiving, and topped it by giving gifts again on Christmas to kids.

Saban is a brilliant coach and the best in the game, but pump the fricking brakes a bit. He isn't splitting the atom here. If his players can understand "terminology" or "scheme detail" enough to run it, then I doubt you could find a football coach at any level that couldn't understand it if it was explained to them.

I mean for frick sakes, what kind of "terminology" could even be used that someone couldn't comprehend. If you could just give one example of Saban "terminology" too complicated for a coach to understand, we'd sure love to hear it!

Bama fans in general have more football knowledge than other fanbases. It's been that way since way before Saban. Hands down the most knowledgeable fanbase imo.

This is actually true. This is how Bama fans identify themselves.

Accountants know more about accounting than any other profession, doctors know more about medicine, lawyers know more about the law, etc. Obviously when you've devoted your life to something, you know more about it than others.

The biggest mystery is how these Bama players don't get busted with their weed at Bama. Or get off for it when it is too hot outside.

Why do LSU players always get busted for PEDs at the next level, but never while at LSU?

Getting to me? The proof is in the pudding, Bama plays in their third consecutive playoff tomorrow on the back of another great defense ?

You all choosing not to accept his superiority on that side of the ball isn't going to get the game cancelled, it just makes you sound like retards. If you wanna talk ball I'm all ears sally

Truth. Auburn High allowed him to cheat on his ACT (someone else took it for him). Which is why he got into college.

The only problem with what Bart is saying is that Rex took the Bills defense from very good before he got there to very mediocre now. Maybe Darius, who is actually there, knows more than Bart Scott about it.
