They aren't the U anymore, haven't been for some time. The U was a winning program that was brash and flash. Miami now is an average program that is trying to find ways to keep the budget in the black and keep title IX and stipend compliances despite dropping attendance and fan support.
Miami will get close teams to come play them for rent-a-wins on the cheap or for 2-1 or 1-1's. There two rent-a-win home games this year are Toledo (part of a home and home) and Bethune-Cookman (HBCU down the road in Daytona). Other than HBCU schools in close proximity Miami can't afford many money/body bag games if they wish to keep up in arms race of College Athletics.

I plan on going to the ULL game up there. It's the Thursday before LSU plays at Ole Miss.
Jonesboro Thursday, Memphis Friday, Oxford Saturday. Should be a fun trip.
