The question really is...why do you get worked up over it?

Worked up? Nah...jimmies not even close to rustling.

I just try to point it out when I see what I perceive as irrational analysis. And with Romo, there's plenty to go around.

15th out of 32? Most people probably fall right in the middle just like Romo.

This. The OP missed class when they talked about percentages. If I knew the OP IRL, I'd toss him a couple of bucks, because we should take care of those that are less fortunate, especially during the holiday season. I hope he can find a nice shelter to stay at during the cold weather.

Yeah. Back-up QBs, CFL QBs, Arena QBs, and every other guy who couldn't cut it don't count.

Are you Top 10/15 in the world at your profession? Just wondering.

Since 10/15 is a fraction that breaks down to 2/3, then yes I am in the top 2/3 of my profession. Easily.

Opinions vary (for good reasons and weak ones), but are there really 15 guys you'd rather have right now? Really?

Come on
Of course not.

Romo is one of those great sports litmus tests where if someone says Romo is average or below average, you can immediately know all you need to know about that person's sports knowledge.

I understand that some people are trolling the op, but some I think are idiots. You are not on the same level as Romo because you are in the top 2/3 of your profession. Here is the difference, 99% of American males would love to be a Qb in the NFL, but either failed at trying or didnt even try because they knew they had no shot. So saying you are a top 2/3 accountant and comparing that to Romo is a joke. Now for those trolling then troll away

Incorrect. People hate Romo because the MEDIA tells them to. The second i hear someone say Romo sucks or isnt clutch, I immediately know not to ever listen to their opinion again. I know they are just a pawn of the media. Same as those clowns who used to say Lebron just didnt have "it" and would never be able to win.
Oh, I like this guy. Well done!

Yes, and we have already discussed the reason why.

That is what i said earlier in this thread. When i hear someone say Romo sucks or isnt clutch, i know never to listen to that persons sports opinion ever again. Same as the Lebron doesnt have "it" people from 3 years ago

I swear to the baby Jesus that when I made that post you just quoted, I also put in the Lebron part circa 2-3 seasons ago. Only thing I changed was I viewed it from the perspective of those still saying Kobe was better in like 2010 or 2011. Then, i deleted the Lebron part out cause I didn't want the thread to take that turn lol.

Pretty freaky, I feel like this lsupride87 guy is REALLY smart!!!

I detected what I thought was a slight rustle, but I must be a little off today.

You do realize when you are number one in your profession you are in the top 2/3 too?

So your point is that no matter how good you are in any American profession, you will never be as good as Tony Romo?

No, I would say if you are a top 2/3 (which is bs to start with, as romo is easily top 1/3) in certain fields such as neurology or a ceo of a fortune 500 company you can compare yourself to a Qb. Basically jobs that 99% of the American population would take in a heartbeat. Although I would say if you polled american men, Qb is the most envied job in the country

ETA: Also, Romo could most likely do 99% of the jobs that the posters on the MSB do. However, not one single poster could do what Romo does. So yes, you will never be as good as Romo at life. He would also kick your arse in golf

Why not just be Tiger Woods.

Then you have the whole world, more money, and career that lasts past the age of 35 (if you are lucky).

It really isnt smart, it is basically allowing yourself to think without the media storylines.
