After back-to-back World Series titles. You conveniently left that out.

And once again don't forget, Braves beat Indians in the series. I'm with the previous poster that it can hurt way more to come close and lose.
Then you can add in The Fumble. Woof

Are Cleveland, Toronto, or Atlanta fans about to witness their favorite team leave town so they can share a new stadium with their biggest, most hated rival?
It's San Diego
It's San Diego

If San Diego had more taxpayers and less illegals they'd be able to keep their team.

Can't forget Toronto FC. They never made the playoffs.
They're finally about to reach that goal this year. Doing quite well and they'll only be better once Gold Cup ends.

Imagine being a Cleveland sports fan and seeing a shitty sports town like Miami win 5 titles in the past 20 years.

"Shitting the bed"? Two of their 3 best players were out with injuries.

IMO Cleveland is #1 with no championships since 1964 and several losses in finals and world series. They also lost their NHL team.
I'd probably say Atlanta #2. That 1995 World Series is the ONLY championship a team from Atlanta has ever won. Plus they have lost two NHL franchises. And
San Diego also has a good argument, with only one championship way back in the 1960's but they only have two teams (not three like Cleveland and Atlanta), and it is just such a pleasant place I feel like the sports fans there are not as tortured in other places. After a loss they can be like f*ck it, let's go surf.
Phoenix also only has one championship, but it is seven years more recent than Atlanta's w/ a World Series in 2001.
Buffalo has had a rough go, but they have two championships not one, and they also only have two teams, not three.
It has been very slightly longer for Toronto than Atlanta, but they have had so much more success. The Blue Jays won two world series in the early 1990's, plus the Maple Leafs have thirteen Stanley Cups, second most of any team. That is fifteen times more championships than Atlanta. And even more if you count CFL. I wouldn't even put them in my five most tortured.

It's not just losing, it's the way you lose. That's why Cleveland is the answer. They also have 3 pro sports teams, 3 of which have been around a LONG time.
For that reason I wouldn't include Atlanta or San Diego. 2 pro sports teams for SD, and 3 for Atlanta. None of those teams have the longevity of the ones in Cleveland.
Buffalo losing 4 Super Bowls in a row and a tough Cup loss to Dallas certainly makes them a contender.
