Nah, that would be one without a super Bowl championship. Ie a team you doubtlessly support.

There are 13 NFL franchises without a Super Bowl.

Did you know that the Saints are #28 in the NFL in all-time win percentage and have lost 100 more games than they have won?

That's too bad. At least we've won something

looking better than Detroit...

Detroit would be a playoff team with Sean Payton as their coach. They have actual talent.

The Saints may very well have the worst roster in the NFL. Blame poor drafts, which means no good players on rookie deals, which in turn forced a ton of overpaying for past their prime vets.

Drew Brees isnt as good as he once was, but he isnt the problem. Payton didn't forget how to coach, he just got in over his head. You can only mask so many deficiencies as a playcaller

Falcons are #29 in all time winning percentage (right behind the Saints) and have no Super Bowl to lean on. Bucs are dead last at #32. Panthers lead the NFC South in all-time winning percentage at #22, and trending upwards with a bright future led by a young star QB.

87. And they are .500 as a franchise after 1980 with a Super Bowl win.

In the last 40 years, the Eagles have been a much better franchise by those numbers than the Saints. They have been to a couple of Super Bowls and at least half a dozen NFC Championship Games.

Think they'd trade places with the Saints?

Or even the Buccaneers?

I saw Mr. Benson about three months ago . He looked disoriented as three people had to carry him to the bathroom. It was a sad situation. He appeared fragile and confused.

It's over in New Orleans, it's been a great decade but you have to blow it up every so often. Brees has one more year if you want to keep him around but nobody wants the contract. Payton and Loomis need to move on and both will be successful again, it's just time for a change. There is no ill will for these guys that brought us a title, but that only buys you so long in the NFL. Honestly, Payton would be ideal for Statford in Detroit with all those weapons!

The Saints need a seasoned Head Coach to come in and bring talented coaches with him. Build it back with young talent. Our evaluation process has been a disaster.

The Saints are a total dumpster fire at this point. They've somehow managed to go into a rebuild (defense/receiver) but they're still stuck in high priced player cap hell. How a team can do both of those things is beyond me.

I think Brees has some good years left in him but he can't do shite behind the offensive line. They can't run block to take any of the pressure off of an aging Brees. We're averaging 3.4 yards per carry. The best chance the team has to move the ball is to throw it. But the o-line can't pass block either, so Brees rushes throws or gets hit non-stop.

The Brees/Payton era is clearly over, and I do not want to go through another 2 years of this shite with Payton.

The Purge needs to begin next year.

You know why we have one?

Because our team leader and captain wasn't looking for hookers the night before the Super Bowl.

I think they need to completely overhaul the offensive system. Besides the declining talent, it seems to me much of the saints struggles have to do with the league catching on to the Payton/Brees system.

I think Brees can still be effective in the right offense that doesn't solely depend on him playing lights out.

They should let Payton walk and bring in a new offensive-oriented coach with a completely different philosophy.

I don't even believe they're one of the five worst teams in the NFL at the moment so my answer is probably no.

Brees isn't making playoffs anytime soon, let alone winning a superbowl.

Payton isn't staying if Brees isn't there.

With both of them gone, Loomis can shift focus to the Pelicans.

Benson is about off his rocker mentally.

You pretty much have to think the house will clean itself pretty soon. It's much needed anyway.

Go after a stud QB in the draft with your hopefully top 5 pick.

Only issue now is Brees' competitiveness is going to keep our younger QB's on the bench and potentially win us enough games to keep us from a top pick.

I'd be okay if Brees retired after this year, Payton left, Loomis resigns as GM, and we revamp the entire org.
