Has that ever happened before? A team conceding a play to allow an opponent a record?

Are you being serious?

He was one on one against a TE. The guy with 21.5 sacks was one on one with a te and you roll your qb to that side? Cmon man

So the OC for the Packers went out of his way to give his team a negative play in order for an opponent to break a record.

I'm 25 and hes very familiar / well known to me...

And Stragan was a great player... But he is a little overrated... 14year career and only had double digit sacks 6 out of the 14 years he played in the NFL. A lot of people think Peppers has underachieved somewhat throughout his career, and he's has 8 seasons with double digit sacks in his 12year career. Jared Allen has 8 in 10 years. Ware has 7 in 9 years.

He was a great player... But not as great as people make him out to be.

The Giants were done and Green Bay had the game and a playoff spot locked up. Im pretty sure by 2001 Favre had free reign to do whatever he wanted. If Karma is real then it applies here because favre threw 6 picks the next week in the playoffs.
