I also remember very fondly a more obscure moment when Terry Pendleton homered to center off Roger McDowell (I think) to spur the Cardinals on one of their playoff runs against the Mets in the mid 80s

Pendleton or Herr hit the bomb in the Metrodome in 87 that nobody mentions.
