It's ok to teach Christianity not Islam. You should leave this country if you don't believe this.

Sammy Watkins was the one who asked to be baptized there. Again its their freedom of religion, so they can practice it

And if Dabo wanted to pray on the sideline every time they scored, no one would have a problem with it.

Of course they would have a problem with it.

A. Its not OK for an employee of a public university to teach either

B. If you really believe this in general terms, you should leave the country

People might have a personal problem with it, but there would be nothing they could do about it.

Christianity is the unofficial official religion of America. This is fact. That said you have the option to practice whatever religion you please without persecution. If a Muslim coach tried to do this, good luck because you'd be talking to maybe 3 players off your team

Completely agree it's up to them. I just think that would be an odd sight to see while getting taped by a trainer

If Dabo was openly praying on the sidelines during games, this group would absolutely be protesting and trying to force him to stop. It would in the most ridiculous circles be seen as a government employing forcing his religious views on others.

Those would have to be some pretty ridiculous circles to make a personal prayer into forcing religious views on others.

Are you completely unfamiliar with the freedom from religion foundation?

If he is doing it on his own time and it's voluntary, I don't see the big deal. The problem is as a salaried employee when is he truly "off the clock"? That will be the salient point in this entire matter, I'm guessing.

Cause teaching players good moral values in a surrounding that involves Christianity is the same as teaching Islam.

So i guess the next time a player Tebows after scoring a touchdown he should be immediately ejected, expelled, and then shot to make the atheists happy.....

And I don't really have an issue with it, but he is supposed to be held accountable as a major representative and employee of a public university. The guy has always been a tool

What if teaching about God is part of the way he coaches?

I see no problem here in what he is doing.

Then he should work for a non public institution, or figure out a way to teach morals without religion.
