Only two seasons left to watch one of the greatest hitters ever. Hopefully the Yankees can make a run at it in these next couple of seasons.

GOAT money maker as well

Signed for 10 years-252 million back in 2000

Signed extension with Yankees:10-275 million

He obviously won't get the same response that Jeter got, but it's nice to let the fans know. Odd he announced so early, but just means he wants to retire a Yankee.

Lots of things to hate about Alex. The thing I always loved and respected about him most was how much he loved being a Yankee.

I may not like Rodriguez personally, or the things he has done, but it is impressive that someone can square up a baseball as many times as he has.

To be fair though, he opted out of the $252M contract early in order to sign the second one, it wasn't really an extension, and then he was suspended so he didn't earn the full value of either deal.

True and the Yankees took away his $6 million bonus and will probably try to avoid paying his marketing bonuses

This also means that he will likely pass Ruth for 3rd all-time on the home run list, but not approach Aaron or Bonds' total.

Future Hall of Famer, or at least he better be. But since these baseball Hall of Fame voters are the biggest snob, retarded jackasses on the planet, I'm not sure they will vote him anyway because of the steroid garbage.

Better hitter in their primes A-Rod or Miggy?

Easily the second most talented baseball player of all-time after Mickey Mantle. I doubt we'll ever see another shortstop hit 57 HRs and play Gold Glove-caliber defense again. A-Rod truly was a once in a lifetime talent. He will be greatly missed.

You literally have a guy in the majors now who has the Potential to do so. Not saying he will but Correa has the potential. Maybe not 50 plus Homers but 40 plus with gg defense.

A-Rod has had an outstanding career and is an amazing player, but get out of here with this.

I mean considering Barry Bonds>>>>A-Rod.

Oooooohhhhhhh. That's a tough one man. If I had to guess, I would probably say Miggy because he was such a great contact hitter as well as a power guy. As good as anyone who's ever played the game.

What's funny? If you don't think Correa had the potential to do so your a fool.

Not really sure why you're laughing. He's not wrong.
