One of the most anticipated fights of the year – perhaps in recent MMA history – may have to wait.

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) has suffered a rib injury and is questionable for his grudge match with rival Conor McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC).

Impossible for a fractured rib to heal in time.

That pussy is just scared of The Notorious One! The fight will still happen though after Dana tells his arse to get on a plane, sit in coach and fly his little arse out to Vegas so he can hand over his belt to Mystic Mac! If he doesn't do as he is told he will be stuck living in a favela forever.

Oh please delay this!

I got invited to this last Friday night and I have a work deadline so I can make it out to Vegas. 1 of my friends is an agent at Paradigm for McGregor. They said they are getting a suite at Mandalay bay or something and I want to go and hang

Delay til like August!

It won't be August, that PPV is in Brazil, but it could be September or October if Aldo pussies out.

This has become routine. One of the many reasons I stopped following it. There's so many fights that get scrapped due to "injury".

And yes, I said "injury".

I am saying they wouldn't have it in Brazil, no way, but if it gets pushed back and you get to go I will be jealous as hell!

I'm already going to Vegas in a month for a long weekend anyway so I couldn't justify it

But if they move this thing you better believe i'll be putting pics up hanging with Dana

Good let McGregor fight a top FW before he gets his title shot. Edgar, Lamas and Mendes are available right?

This fight was never going to come to fruition. Earlier in the year, some guy bets the following:

Of course, none of those fights never actually took place.

I really hope this is just some little publicity stunt by the UFC to help hype/promote this fight a little. Would suck if this fight gets pushed back....

Not just this year. Ever since the fox deal happen events have become very water logged and fighters pulling out more than I do.
