I just looked up the '95 Huskers. Frequently mentioned as the best ever.

27 players from that team played in the NFL. Assuming Bama is their equal, they have just enough players to fill out the starting lineup and no depth after that. The Browns have twice as many NFL players.

Bama would get skulldragged.

I do not understand how any person would actually think that Bama would stand a chance against the Browns.....

Could they?

If by compete he means give up about 350 rushing yards on 50 carries then sure.

The Browns could win the game without throwing a pass if they wanted to.

Yeah, I can't imagine how Alabama's defensive line could get any push or penetration by the LB'ers.

shite, the Browns could throw Pryor in at QB and they would cruise.

That doesn't even take into account what stage of their college career those people were at. A lot of 27 could be freshmen or sophomores, who aren't nearly as developed

Yep. A couple things people that think Bama would have any chance fail to consider

The amount of practice time NFL teams get vs NCAA teams
The difference in strength between linemen.
Even though they are the Browns, they are professionals and if anyone thinks they have any interest in losing to a college team they're crazy. Cleveland would come out swinging

Vegas says the spread would be around 17-20 points.

That implies Bama would win at least a few times if they played 100 games.

The Browns are absolutely terrible.

The Browns would win easily but you guys completely overrate the worst professional teams.

Many Alabama players are future pro-bowlers, NFL starters, NFL backups, practice team players, CFL players, arena players, etc.

Yeah, they obviously won't have as much talent as the Browns, but to act like they are a bunch of slap dicks out there who can't lay the wood on someone who is "professional" is silly.

If there was a 1 and done rule like in basketball, many Alabama players would be in the NFL right now.

Guys like Ndamukong Suh were throwing NFL guys around on day 1. Same for countless other players.

You are a complete idiot. Alabamas front isn't shite compared to NFL d-lines. Blocking Tim williams isn't hard when you have blocked T Suggs. Cody kessler has had to face absurdly complicated NFL defenses that make bamas defense look simple as hell. I can go on

The Browns would win easily... but acting like they are playing a bunch of middle schoolers and the score will be 70-0 is silly.

Not to mention, while he might be the worst NFL starter, you put him back at USC this season he probably wins the Heisman

Name me one position where Alabama would have the edge. Browns would run behind Joe Thomas every play and Bama couldn't stop them at all. Joe Haden has had to cover AJ green for the past 5 years, I doubt Ardarius Stewart would present any issues

This. After playing NFL schemes, a college defense would be a joke to any qb. Like going from Calculus 3 down to addition and subtraction

Since the game will never be played, I'm not sure Vegas isn't just trolling everyone with the spread

For every tard who thinks Bama would have a chance, I pose this question: If Bama would make a close game or even win, would 4 loss LSU also make it close? You know, since they held Alabama to 10 points. That is all.
