I thought we'd open at around -18.

I think it will drop below -21 or -20 when it gets closer to the game.

I think that number is about right. I think Bama could be covering, but a number like that is just asking for a backdoor by VY.

LSU -6 vs. TCU

That's one of those lines that seems almost to good to be true.

Is TCU supposed to be bad this year? I don't know anything about them, but I know LSU should be pretty good

TCU should be top 15 preseason. They let their crackhead qb back on the team.

no they get their druggy qb back and now have good depth there. They started the most freshman in any of the BCS leagues.

It's funny because I thought OSU was top 3 too

I think OSU played like 13 to 15 or something

Time out boys...

Georgia is the trendy pick to with the SEC and possibly NC. How in the hell is Clemson favored? If Georgia has any defense they'll be VERY good this year. And Clemson is..well..Clemson.

Why would the SEC take a team that gets their arse beat that bad?

So they can have a permanent game vs Bama. Duh.

That's about right. I really think Virginia Tech will struggle mightily to move the ball on Alabama. Alabama will wear their defense down in the second half.

30-3 Alabama

they were very young last year and return almost everyone on their D which was pretty good.

if CP keeps his head straight they should be solid and have an outside shot of winning the Big 12.

I will take that LSU line all day once it hits -7 or lower. (I doubt it will)

As for the Bama line, After the drumming of Michigan last year, I'm inclined to think they will do the same to a lesser VT team...BUT Bama lost a LOT of talent. If there's any team I trust to be ready (even after losing that much talent) to demolish an OOC team it's saban and bama, but I learned not to chase at crazy numbers last year and -22.5 is a lot for me to lay. I'll wait and see what it does once the season starts.
