8 seconds call? You kidding me?

In a playoff game with 2 minutes left???
So I guess this means they are gonna start calling every 3 seconds or when they cross the line on the inbounds pass under the goal.
Gimme a break. NBA....you want the Celtics to win or something?
And while you are at it.....you better make sure the Lakers start winning.
You cant DARE have Rockets vs Cavs for the title.

That is not a judgement call like a 3 second count. There's a 24 second clock for all to see. The ref will not let that slide.

No my point is "when" they start inforcing the rules. I say call every damn foul , every damn walk ,etc...not just when you want to.
How many walks or fouls do they let go...why not let this go. Because the C's needed it.

8 second calls are almost always called and called correctly since it's not subjective at all

I think they should do away with this rule all together. With the shot clock, who is seriously going to try and keep the ball at the other end of the court?

It was bang/bang. It seems they blow the whistle when they see the clock hit 16. There should be another decimal place to make it 16.0. At 16.2 its still not a violation. If they don't add a decimal place, I think they should have to wait till the clock shows 15.

Gives teams a chance to set up the press when the game is coming to an end instead of just fouling.
