Doesn't Droopy Dog and Stevie Johnson play tonight in Mexico?

Isner at altitude? It would be awful to watch that tank job.

There is no way I can see Isner doing anything in Acapulco except drinking some Rum and hanging out on the beach.

The ATP should make a rule saying Isner can only play at sea level in no humidity and on fast courts. That way you may get to see him make 3 shots in a set.

I know CoCo got beat today, unfortunately. But it was to another American.

I don't know if it was discussed here or not, but I came across an article a while back about Isner. I don't remember a lot of the details, but the gist of it was that he likes tennis, but he likes other things like college football just as much, and enjoys his free time.

I'm not defending him or anything, but with career earnings over $10 million, I can see how some people would be content with that. He's sort of limited by his height, and maybe he knows better than us that he just can't hang with the upper echelon of guys.

Again, not defending. In his position, I would either go all out for the top, or take my millions and hang it up. I don't see the fun in losing in the QF's in majors and winning a 250 title every now and then.

He made 1 first serve out of 6 in the first game and got broken.

Then gets down 0-40 in the 1st game of 2nd set but fights back to hold.

Anyone who missed this match... congrats.

Was really hoping Harrison would turn into the next American great! Would make my claim to fame. True story, I beat Ryan Harrison at tennis at Pierremont. I was in high school,

He was 5.

This guy Escobedo has to be the douchiest player I've ever seen. The Mexican crowd is already on his side, and he does a double "come on" after every point like he's beating Murray at Wimbledon. It would be funny if it wasn't so annoying.

Congrats on the extra $10K and the 45 ranking points buddy.

Stan goes down in the first round at Dubai. He's becoming the Eli Manning of tennis.

Ha, that is a great comparison.

Nice to see Novak back out there. They must have had a delay or long matches earlier today as there are two more matches to go tonight (checked to see if maybe they are Pacific time -- nope, central time zone -- weird to think about for a city on the Pacific).

Supposedly they start late to avoid the heat, like Rio did last week.

Imagine getting Novak, Rafa, and Delpo in 1 night session.

They're showing Kyrgios on a whack side court. It looks like when you try to watch an NCAA match online.

Incredible effort from Tiafoe, win or lose. Going to a 3rd set breaker.

Delpo survives, and he's rewarded with a 2nd round matchup with Novak.

I fell asleep early and missed the matches tonight, but now up late with y'all. 2-1 on serve in the third set right now.
