Juan got up a break in the third to 4-3, but Nole closes it out 6-4. Great match. Juan is so good, but he just needs that topspin backhand in his arsenal. Maybe it's never coming back with that wrist.

Delpo is sick. I can't get over his consistency and the way he gets down for the slice backhands as a 6'6 guy. Oh, and probably the best forehand the sport has ever seen. He's so good that he can compete for majors with strictly a defensive backhand. He gives up a little too much space on the forehand side, but you have to be precise to get it there or you are done.

Now Murray is at 18-18 in a tiebreaker with Kohli.

I don't know what's going on with the tour these days.

My favorite choke artist took the 1st set 6-1 over Thiem.

Kyrgios is sitting on 25 aces at 6-5 in the 2nd set.

Versus Novak Djokovic.

Agreed. Even on 2nd serve, he won 15/20 with only 1 DF, and he was hitting bombs. I don't know if there's a way to measure how dominant it was, but I've never seen anything close to it.

I only saw a couple games of the replay before they cut to Rafa live, but the guy was clowning with between the legs shots in the middle of rallies and doing other frickery, yet apparently blew Djoke off the court in the end. Apparently, this was the extent of Djoker's presser.

quote:

(How did you feel) "not great" "He has a big serve, he deserved to win. Congrats." "That's it."

Look at the Opponent Ace % of the Kyrgios match in relation to Joker's career. Yeah, I would probably be pissed too.

Would be funny if Querrey takes out Kyrgios.

Ha. Big Sam is coming on, I wouldn't doubt if it happens.

I'm not a huge Rafa fan, but the sport is better when this dude is kicking tails. I am gonna root for La Decima at Roland Garros.

I'm one of the few loving the sport right now. All the various fanboys probably aren't happy with the parity. Last night I narrowed down my list of guys who I think can realistically win Indian Wells, and came up with 13. In the past it would have been maybe 3 or 4.

Our lord and savior Nick is the one guy who can turn this sport on its ear and blow it past stuff like golf in the eyes of the public. I just want him to take Wimbledon or US Open one of these years.

Can't believe he is only 21. Feels like he has been around forever.

He's already at a servebot level, and his ground game is far superior to guys like Raonic. Imagine if he takes over the sport for a while with his unlikeable personality. It will be must-watch.

Damn, forgot about this WTA match before the other semi.
