I watched maybe five minutes of replay coverage last night, but I thought it was cool that Mary Carillo was reporting the in-game betting lines on Murray while he was losing. I haven't been able to get into the tournament yet and am just looking forward to having these garbage early matches out of the way and seeing things spice up over the weekend. I probably need to start betting like you guys.

Mary Carillo is so damn good. When she's in the same booth with Gimelstob or Annacone it really accentuates how bad both of them are. "Patterns, patterns, neutral ball mistake, big ask, take his time away, patterns, patterns." And fingernails on a chalk board are like Beethoven's fifth compared to Annacone's voice. It hurts to listen.

Can't pass on Kyrgios -120 vs. Gasquet. Yeah, Reeshard is French, but I'll go with the better player.

Simon/Troicki over 37 games. Troicki hasn't won a set in 6 matches vs. Simon, but Simon could barely walk between points in the 5th set against Pella. Troicki should win a set or two, and may win the match if he can overcome the crowd. I'm hoping Simon pulls it out because Stan will obliterate him in the next round.

I broke my own rule of not betting on women in the first round and it burned me. I'm not playing this one, but Begu at -205 vs. Beck is crazy. That should be at least -450.

Sock just lost an absolute dogfight. He had six or seven break points to even up the third at 5-5 and couldn't convert. I thought he would tap out after that, but he still extended it deep into the fifth set.

His recent form does resemble previous miraculous comebacks from "injury"

The wrist injury was previously reported a week or two ago.

Wow my Goffin 200-1 is looking great now. Good chance of Goffin v. Thiem for spot in semis versus Novak. Of course will take Novak big versus Goffin but should be able to lock in some nice profit if Goffin makes it there.
