Jesus that Anderson kid destroyed that clean pyramid. Bridges is a GD animal to be doing this at that size.

Anderson's performance might be the most impressive to me thus far from everyone outside of Fraser

The Fisher's are overrated.

Lauren Fisher did win the 2016 California Regional. Next to the Meridian and East, California was probably the most-competitive female regional field. That said, one could argue that her relative fame (she's the only female Crossfitter with a Nike endorsement deal and even appeared in the "Snow Day" commercial) is primarily attributable to her potential and good looks rather than her actual accomplishments. She's a very cute American who isn't built like a fullback - that makes her more marketable than many other athletes like the Dottirs, CLB, Kara Webb, etc.

Sara Dottir is a Nike girl now too, nike features her more than they do LF as of late.

Garrett looked super strong on the last reps on the clean pyramid and double DT. Had he made his final clean in the pyramid he would have taken 2nd if i recall. Im not sure why he didnt push harder

These games are always so crazy to me. Some of the events just look so indescribably difficult, to the point I know I'd never even come close, and then others just look so eh.

I have zero doubt I could destroy this Climbing Snail event, no doubt whatsoever. It's shocking to me some of these guys couldn't complete rope climbes.

Probably burned out their arms on the first part of the event. I can't imagine the level of soreness they go through as the events go on

It looked like Alethea Boon tore her left achilles in event 10.

Yep sure did.

Fraser will take men but any guesses on women? I'm pulling for Toomey

I don't think Toomey will fair well in the handstand walk or sprint. Toomey should crush the plow event, though.

It'll come down the mystery last event. If it's gymnastic heavy and no barbell or brute strength component, it'll be the Dottirs or Briggs.

Touche, and there's just no way to simulate this for the average person. I imagine more than anything it's their grips. Their hands must be destroyed by the end of the Games.

I think he and Fraser both did. You could tell he was getting pissed at that fat arse telling him no rep over and over again.

*I think handstand ring push-ups are dumb.
