Not yet but I'm definitely open to it, especially with the vest. I want to do it outdoors tho because I think that definitely changes things.

I will say this and I know it is not a popular thought amongst CF'ers, if you're doing momentum kipping on the pullups, they really shouldn't count.

I know, Lester. I know. I can't help it.

Where are the games? If they are in the Southeast then it's damn near suicide.

Cool, you live in Jackson right? I'm sure one of the boxes would allow you to go run it on a Saturday there.

To the Kipping pull-ups, I had this discussion with a guy who joined the other day. CF is all about functional fitness, so in a realistic situation, if you were hanging on the side of the building, you would use every part of your body to get up. Or if your pulling yourself up on the side of the boat, same applies, so why not train for that in the same way?

It's in Carson, CA. It's probably hot to a few foreign athletes out there but for us down in the south, that weather would be optimal l.

I've been invited to a couple of boxes and I plan on going. Everyone I talk to is really nice. I just want to pick one that has the best instruction.

And, to your point about kipping, that makes sense.

I mean, if you're going for time, then duh kipping is the way to go. So I get it.

I'll be sure to check out Reddit after my meetings and see if anybody posted some streams.

I'm from Madison originally and partial to Coyote Crossfit when I go home. Most of those guys graduated high school with me and I know Hunter Owen is a pretty respected around the area. Check them out if you're ever in that area.

Thanks for the rec. Yeah, there are like 20+ Crossfit gyms in the Jackson Metro Area. It is pretty popular here.

There are 3 boxes within a 10 mile radius of my house.

Lester, you think these guys are on any sauce? I couldn't imagine what kind of concoction they'd be taking.

Yea probably. Harder to tell with the guys but have you seen some of the quads & biceps on these women? My best guess is yes, some of them.

The guys, I don't think so. The women? I'm pretty sure. The way they look pretty much defies biochemistry
