He has just mailed it in and making no effort it seems.

He has been attacking, but like everyone else he can't seem to get anything to stick. Am I the only one who doesn't understand why Quintana, Nibali, Valverde, and Contador will attack and then sit up 15 seconds later with Froome only halfway across the gap. Or Quintana attacking, then looking back and sitting up. This is the Tour de France, if you are going to attack and you want time, go all in! Nairo could use some more Jens Voigt.

Everyone could use more Jens Voigt.

Nibali is attacking, but he just dug himself such a deep, deep hole that it won't really matter.

I will be pretty pissed if the next two days suck.
Apparently Froome was in a bit of difficulty today while Thomas looked strong. Won't happen but it Would be hilarious to see a Froome-Wiggins Part deux with Froome and Thomas.

Seriously, tomorrow is a short stage with some punishing climbs, if there are no fireworks....the CG guys should be going all out

Thomas or Froome?

I would have thought the crash of Thomas a couple days ago had to affect him. Froome will just cyborg back to everyone probably. I hate not being able to watch live. I feel the prime time coverage has been poorer this year than years past, too much studio talk and not enough action. I also feel Ligget and Sherwood have become stale. I am probably nitpicking though.

Thomas is off the back. He's already lost his spot to Contador, virtually.
Froome was isolated from all his guys but Poels joined him back.
Valverde attacked, probably the best one since they've been trying all week but they'll reel him back in eventually.
Definitely going to be some moves on the last climb

Froome has a mechanical and there goes Nibali

Heard the announcers mention that Nario wasn't feeling too good today, hopefully they are playing possum.

Nibali wants that stage win.
Contador has a bunch of team mates and they're just letting him building his lead, he's going to lose his spot

Going to have any juice left tomorrow? About 2:40 back now

Lot's of juice left and I think a team in better shape for tomorrow. 2:40 on Froome is an awful lot. I think Quintana will take time, but I don't think it will be any more than a minute. With the effort of Nibali, 3rd place will be interesting.

Crazier things have happened but I don't think that Nairo has enough to pull back 2:40 from Froome tomorrow. That 1:30 he lost in stage 2 is absolutely huge right now. I hope Movistar and the rest of the contenders blow Sky apart early in the stage and we get some drama on arguably the most iconic summit in the tour.

How did Contador lose more time today to Froome? I thought he was 6:04 back now it is 7 plus.

Well Quintana attacked and only Froome was able to chase him down. A pack that included Valverde, Contador and I think Pinot and Rolland came in after Froome
