Some guy says Harrison Barnes would be the second best player on the rockets and jazz. But I'm trolling?

It's not that, it's your consistent flooding of attacks to anyone who says anything negative about the Rockets or calls you out on backpedaling.
"I'm not regular season guy and neither is my team"(paraphrasing here) after being called out. What kind of BS is that? By definition, the Rockets have very much been a regular season team for years.
The Rockets really do have one of the 5-6 best owners in the NBA, but this core is flawed(to be a championship contender).They don't have a good coach(although young coaches can get better). The organization probably knows this.
The Rockets CAN advance in the playoffs this year...but they aren't getting past OKC,GS or the Spurs...unless injuries.
The Rockets could probably beat any other team in the West in a 7 game series. Memphis is going to likely fall out of the playoff picture so that can bump the Rockets up out of the 8th seed, but the Rockets need to get to at least to the 4th seed.
Finally, this thread was about the general NBA night:flooding it with Rockets talk is hijacking it...especially when we are all in agreement that Whiteside is vastly overrated by the MSB.
ETA: I agree with you about Barnes, he basically gets free looks. Getting better as a player, but plenty could fill his role in GS.

It only became rockets when the slapstick said Barnes > Howard. I let a lot of stuff slide here but that was so ridiculous I just had to comment. I got set the record straight from time to time. From there all the other posters jump in and make it a rockets thread when they put their little .02 in.

A part of me wants the Blazers to make a small move for him. If it doesn't work, he walks. I'm just scared that we could end up finishing strong causing the general fans to want to throw money at him. That would be a nightmare scenario.

Lots of the big time hoops guys felt just like me. The respected national guys. Lowe, Simmons, myself, etc. all had HOU penciled in for 60 wins. Those guys certainly ain't Houston homers and saw the same thing I did coming into the season. Didn't turn out that way to date. But whether they win 60 or 45 won't matter one lick when the playoffs start. It's bad for you because your regular season accomplishments won't mean squat when d12 and harden are whooping that arse come playoff time.

Bet you thought you wouldn't lose to the softest team in the league in rd 1 last year. Bet you thought you wouldnt lose to the freaking Pelicans to forfeit home court either. You ain't really the best guy to go to when it comes to Spurs analysis is what I'm hinting at here.
