It's starting to look like Markieff Morris is left with no choice but to murder a teammate to get out of Phoenix.

No one wants his psycho arse. I'm gonna be so pissed if the only trade we end up making this year is Ryno for Morris

What an idiot. Season hasn't even really started. J.B. needs to get his head right and realize that, come playoffs, this "broken" team will be wreaking havoc on the western conference.

Does he not realize that this broken team is going to wreck havoc on 7/8 of the playoff teams out West!?!?!?

Or maybe he's trying to awaken the beast? We all know Dwight responds well to criticism. Him and Harden being the leaders they are, they're far from broken.

Can we start a petition to get Boom an interview to coach the Rockets? He already does a lot of free lance scouting and he's among the well respected talking heads. His resume seems to stack up to me

The Rockets really do have one of the 5-6 best owners in the NBA, but this core is flawed(to be a championship contender). They don't have a good coach(although young coaches can get better). The organization probably knows this.

Houston doesn't have the glue guys. Ariza is supposed to be that guy, but he's not.

Although I'm not his biggest fan, it's a problem that Marcus Thornton and Ariza shoot more than Dwight Howard.

To many guys looking for their own, which I think is a byproduct of the the teams overall philosophy

Chances are they have watched the basketball for longer than this season and know like most of us with a little basketball acumen that championships ain't decided in mid week games before the all star break. Houston ain't winning a title this year, even if they were on a 60 win pace, they still wouldn't beat Warriors and neither is anyone else.

When you realize that the same people who are posting in these threads are the ones who thought they Pelicans would be better than the Rockets last season after Houston didn't land Parson or Bosh it's hard to take them seriously.

When you realize these are the same people who thought Houston's season was over when they were down 3-1 to the Clips last season, well it's hard to take them seriously.

When you realize these are the same posters who thought Clutch City LOST the Harden deal, well... ... let's just say we ain't dealing with the sharpest Basketball minds here on MSB.

i think i only fall into 1 of those categories. (clippers' series). But i just wouldn't be painting the Rockets as a pretty picture at the moment. It's been a drastic dead fall as of late. Season certainly isn't over, with that amount of talent on the roster, but Morrey will need to work some magic to trade away some dead weight and improve the locker-room outlook.

lol i watched the game with some diehard rockets fans last night and they've just about given up all hope for this season.

btw, great job by Stotz/Lillard & co...turned that season around quick and has them in 7th now.

Pat Bev is out of the skills contest

I mean what was their hope in the first place? GSW is an all time great team they will win it all regardless of if Clutch City was playing good ball or not.. I'm not a moral victory kinda guy so making the 4 seed v the 7 seed doesn't make much of a difference to me. The ultimate goal won't be reached but it doesn't stop me from enjoying watching Harden, Howard, etc don that Rocket Red and do things only a few other people in the world can do with a basketball.

Your narrative change since the beginning of this season has been delicious.
