Just looking at it and its lost alittle bit, I know its not smart to constantly move your money around. Just curious if there is something out there that I should check into or should I just leave it here? Thoughts?

The Beanie Baby market is at an all time low. I think the time to get in is now. They aren't making anymore.

Selling low on an index fund for long-horizon investors is definitely the pro move here

Why can't you just answer his question without being a total douche?

I'll be sure to preface mild sarcasm with an appropriate trigger warning henceforth.

Thanks janky, was ignoring the dumb shite anyways. Was expecting something along those lines. I understand not selling low, pissing money away. Just was asking because I havent seen anybody post about vtsmx lately.

Great fund. Stay in. In fact, add more.

This.

And when you have $10k convert those to VTSAX for the lower expense ratio.

It's +1.50 over the past two days, no reason to jump ship right now

Probably because people who really believe in index funds don't care about these minor blips in the grand scheme of things.

I pay attention to the blips to see if I should take a risk and buy even more, but not to sell.

like has been said, just keeping contributing and ignore the market noise. its actually good for it to go down, stocks are now on sale....convert to admiral shares when you can to keep costs down. Learn contrarian thinking.

some benefits of total stock market index:
ensures share of aggregate markets returns
low cost
low turnover
low taxes
diversity
will not underperform the market as a whole less fees
does not require your attention
