Turbo Tax v. IRS (need some help)

I submitted my taxes via turbo tax but forgot to include my home buying credit from 2008.
It was rejected.
I added it.
It was accepted.
31 days later I call the IRS to check the status and the miserable guy I spoke to said it's showing rejected.
Called Turbo Tax. They're still showing accepted.
What gives??

Refund or payment due?
If its a refund return and they pay the refund, forget about the rejection. Same thing with auto withdraw on a balance due return.

This doesn't answer your question, but what kind of life decisions has someone made to be answering phones for the IRS?

Not sure what you mean but I'm due a refund.
Actually received my state one yesterday. Don't know if that matters.

Multiple times.
Says "being processed."
I guess that's better than "rejected."

Check the website again in a few days. The status should change to processed and they will give you a refund date.

If it says being processed they got your return.
