why you would want to do that, i have no clue.

In general, you ahve to be logged into linkedin to see any details associated with the person. those anonymous views are not anonymouse, they just want you to pay to see who is looking at your profile.

I honestly do not care if people know that I have looked at their profile...that's the entire point of LinkedIn.

Now that I have changed jobs, my LinkedIn is blowing up...I've had like 80 views in the last day

For me, LinkedIn has been a great way for keeping up with people that I used to work with. Before that people would just drop off of the radar except for close friends.

It never bothers me when people view my profile, even anonymously. I can't even imagine why it would. It means that they have a professional interest in me, be it recruiter, coworker, or competitor. In any case name recogniton and credibility is a good thing.
