SLV is nearing a 52 week low, and with all the commercial applications of silver rising( I read the avg cell phone has 20 cents of silver in it) and the political turmoil we deal with daily combined with the uncertainty in North Korea,Iran, and the Eurozone.......seems like a good time to start buying SLV.....any thoughts on silver?

I know the dollar isn't going to magically strengthen with Ben having the printing presses on at full speed ahead

Does anyone else see silver back over $30 soon?

i said on here six months ago that bitcoins would just turn into a bubble once people started hoarding it. For some unknown reason, it did not really occur to me to take advantage of such a situation. although it would have been hard to predict it would take off this soon because of these idiots in cyprus. I thought it would take much longer.

I'm pretty sure this entire board would be sitting on a beach right now if we all bought 6 months ago and sold today. My Wiki security senses just reached Red

I know it was $40 30 days ago give or take.....unreal to be up $80 in or 200% in a month haha

On a serious note, back to silver, wow its nearly $20 off its all time high, and with so many potential drivers pushing it upwards it just seems like a good buy now

I just bought alot at $25.89....this is crazy, it costs almost $23/oz to mine it.....if it stays low theyll shut down mines and that decrease alone will push the price up.

The debt is inching higher and higher, best play on the market

SLW is hammered at $28 now, its down a ton recently 6% today! Its an awesome play, they basically front silver miners investment money to mine on SLW's dime and then SLW gets a set amount of silver at a fixed price in todays prices for future silver mines! Its huge $11B market Cap with an awesome dividend. Buy it now at $28, it 52 week avg is in the 30s

These silver prices are literally laughable now, the dollar is strengthening bc all other currencies are shite

SLW also went ex-div on 3/27... Could be some of the decline, no?

Not doubting that Silver tanking does not have a lot to do with it, just curious if you thought the ex-div did too...

Ex Div would should actually be factored in before the ex-div date.

Obviously, it should because it's no secret when the stock will trade without the dividend and we know what dividend will be paid.

Any fluctuation after the ex-div date would solely from investor confidence.
