I'm having the contractors separate the pricing per SF for the demo then also for Insulation, Sheet Rock, Trim. What would a avg. price per SF run for the demo and rebuild?

We paid 5k for demo, floors included and are gonna pay 9k for reinstall (floors not included) and paint.

Sort of what I did after Katrina. I got a bunch of friends to help with the demo. It is not that hard and we had a ~2400 sq ft home done in a day.

Do you mind me asking what company?

Good luck. Had glued down hardwood throughout that kicked there arse for 2 days. I actually felt bad for them. They literally had to remove it with hammers and wonder bars. they tried scrapers, shovels, hammer chisels etc. and nothing was getting it up.

No company just a man that has done a lot of work for us in the past (painted entire outside house. Remodeled bathroom, tile, paint, drywall etc).
He works for himself and sent his crew there.

I will check with him and see if he wants another house. I do know he's inundated with work and kinda working me in as a favor.
