Trying to do a "Sale By Owner"

Besides NOLA.com, or forsalebyowner.com... anyone have any ideas?

A Google search shows that you can list it in the MLS and on Realtor.com for a flat fee.

This is the best route if you want FSBO. What I always tell people that is that the value of realtors in this situation is the pool of pre-qualified buyers that buyers agents come to the table with. If this isn't something you can devote the time to, you might consider the realtor's fees worth it.

I just used FSBOBR when I sold mine 4 months ago. Cost me like $200-ish. Sold it 2 months later for $4k below asking price.

if this is the route you end up going be prepared for agents calling you asking what % you will pay for a buyer.

And if one of them ends up selling the house it's probably worth a percentage or two.
