I'm hoping this stock stays below $5 for the next several months, honestly. I want to build my position.

And we're up to how much oil now? 1.5 billion BOE, and we're still waiting on Gambia and Kenya, correct?

Ah, still trying to pick up lingo.

, I'm not quite Superman keeping track of every detail. If we had Superman at WR, we would be in the T10 by season's end. Our offensive tackles will be fine. Thanks for asking. We seem to always be able to take 1 star recruits and turn them into Outland Trophy winners, and multi millionaires in the NFL. And they graduate up here also. Laffy! It has a lot to do with the fact we eat USDA Prime, and not USDA crappy Choice steaks on a daily basis. I had some absolutely fantastic Wagyu the other day.

You kinda lost me here. left field?

I pay attention because I have my money in it. I ask if anyone has seen Bueller becuase I'm stunned how many people put money in something without any research or ongoing due diligence.

Thats what I'm trying to do. Biggest thing for me is figuring out what exactly to read and to trust. It is why I have <$50 in any 1 stock. I have a 401k thru work to actually handle my retirement for the time being.

The comment about the Marine Corp above I chose to take in a friendly joking sort of way. I like the Navy, but not the know it all Navy guy on the political threads.

I knew it was T&C which is why I jabbed back. I try to avoid the Poli board.

Want to say thanks for dumbing stocks down so I can pick it up.

Semper Fi. ERN is a risky stock, but a risky stock that actually has a business and some fundamentals. We should all be fine here. Things can and do change in a hurry many times however.

I have been focusing the bulk of my time into reading about it. I think it will do fine.

11/10 earnings release.

This is step two. Most everyone got out at a profit at step one.

Much like the Mighty Iowa Hawkeyes, it is a slow, boring brand of beating people. Consistency, it always outperforms occasional brilliance.

I thought it was 11/09, conference call 11/10. Either way I am looking forward to this.

Congrats on Iowa. They might end up not losing until the conference championship game. That would be something

November $5 calls make a compelling trade. I would think a Nov $5 net credit spread, or synthetic long is also a reasonable speculative play at this point. I did both today.

I'm not sure we beat tOSU, but I don't think we get blown out by anyone this seasons. The last several seasons were an embarrassment for a program that was starting to get used to being T10 on a regular basis.

I've been buying under 4. That's the number for me. I really believe we will see a decent pop in the day or days after earnings. Won't sell at that point. I see more potential out of this than a double up. Might take a little while though.

Otherwise if there are no earnings I have been duped in likely the most elaborate pump and dumps ever.

Edit - tLSU best team in nation? I think so. More talent outside of tUSC, which had some issues due to the schnockered coach. Doesn't mean they win Sat, it just means tLM has really piled up some very good talent.

Third quarter 10q released this afternoon. It's nice to see revenue and an average price of $50.20 per barrel of oil.

11,600 barrels of oil gross were produced a day. Production is/was supposed to be at 14,000 or more a day, but that's a barrel of oil equivalent amount. Either gas made up the remainder, or production dropped.

They only sold about half of the oil they produced. Maybe a tanker didn't take that oil before the quarter ended, maybe they're holding it to get a better price later, or maybe something else happened.

Production costs have declined year over year. That's good considering ERN is producing 3x as much oil as a year ago and selling it for half the price. Depreciation expense up, interest expense up as well, a lot. -$0.28 a share in earnings for the quarter.

That's what I see quickly. I'm looking deeper right now, particularly at the debt.

After reading a bit more, production did drop. Nigeria allowed them to export only 571k barrels of oil. The rest of their production nearly filled up the FPSO, so they had to cut production. 900k barrels were in inventory by the end of September.

For this quarter, they got a better export permit from Nigeria so they can sell 1.3 million barrels of oil. 800k barrels were sold in October alone; the other 500k will also be produced and sold. They plan to bring production rates back up to the old level of 14k barrels a day.

Any thoughts on the 10q or CC, IG? My two big takeaways are that they have at least $900 million in tax credits and they're going it alone for the Miocene plays, at least for now. That was the first time I've heard of the tax credits. Were they mentioned in the past 10q's or 10k's?

I've not had any opportunity to get my head around anything that transpired Monday and Tuesday. All I know is that the market reacted badly to what they released.
