7/31 report shows 28.73% of float short. I speculate the percentage of the real, or effective float is much greater.
If you think about it, ERN doesn't have any news coming, but still, if something set this off, it would go in a hurry given the small float.

Short interest has been steadily high on this one. We expect about 40 mil in revs Q3? Maybe we get a bounce after they report.

Hopefuly we ripped off like a band aid both the oil prices and the short's attack piece.
I think the projection above is about right for Q3. At least $40MM in revenue, but very hard to tell if they have it hedged, less royalties and at what premium over brent they're getting for the crude.
Maybe .20 per share? Does that sound right at bout $42-$43MM?

Sounds right. I have been thinking the pps would slowly increase into Q3 report then bounce after. Hard to tell with current prices of oil. we will see soon enough.

I have to admit, I'm anxious to see Q3, especially since Glencore's news.

A block of 21K went yesterday close to open. As I do a pro forma cash flow statement, it seems to me they can make it for a while.
I'm interested in everyone's take on this, as well as thoughts about the comments on the joint venture.

21K shares moved in one trade yesterday between 9-10AM IIRC.
An estimated cash flow based on projected Q3 earning, the present price of oil, etc.. To see if they can somehow manage to stay open, which I don't think is an issue, and have some funds left to drill for the at least 1BB barrels of oil they own drilling rights on. At least a billion, that's just based on the new 500MM they recently verified, and the rest at Oyo. Probably a lot more. I lost track, and although I'm from Iowa, I'm not quite Superman keeping track of every detail. If we had Superman at WR, we would be in the T10 by season's end. Our offensive tackles will be fine. Thanks for asking. We seem to always be able to take 1 star recruits and turn them into Outland Trophy winners, and multi millionaires in the NFL. And they graduate up here also. Laffy! It has a lot to do with the fact we eat USDA Prime, and not USDA crappy Choice steaks on a daily basis. I had some absolutely fantastic Wagyu the other day.
They made some comments in their release about their search for a joint venture as they sit on a lot of oil, and will need help drilling for it.
I pay attention because I have my money in it. I ask if anyone has seen Bueller becuase I'm stunned how many people put money in something without any research or ongoing due diligence.
After Q3, and then after profitability I'll post laffy links. Because that's what I do. When I'm not working, which I still am at 6PM. But I still manage a moment to check my money. Because I'm weird I guess.
