Spend a lot of time in Nola for work and play. Toying with the idea of purchasing a one or two bedroom place. It needs to be in a decent area as my family would use it some on weekends.

Where does one start to look? Best area? most of the work is in the CBD. Thanks

1750 St. Charles condos
Warehouse district area would be ideal. I'd stay away from CBD and Uptown.

How much are you looking to spend? You need parking? I've heard of some pretty reasonable places is the warehouse district, but there is limited parking, etc.. You're still looking at in the ballpark $250k from what friends and family have purchased.
