I had to sell my latest Apple options a decent sized loss. Still up ~3x over the last 10 weeks but that number used to be 4x.

I have some screens for various sectors on Fidelity.
One screen is upcoming earnings for every stock within that sector that has experienced growth over a certain %.
I'm in the buy on rumor sell before news plan. If a reputable company has good growth YTD and is heading into earnings within 2 weeks, I'll go out 3-6 months on call options atleast 10% over the current stock price.
Sell the day before earnings if before the bell or possibly the day of if after the bell.
Went 20%, 20% and then 325% in the first 3 trades until the tech sector took a dump.

I am long in MNTA. Its a pharma play. Got in at 9 and is at around 17 right now. good line up of products. solid company.

I am making a play on solar. YGE, not a lot of money but I think they are getting overly sold. CALPERS just recently increased their position.

Will buy both Kroger and Supervalue, hoping they are takeover targets.

Let's talk about gambling for a minute. If I wanted to buy $8,000 of MMEX when it's down 10% like it does every day before it snaps back up...roughly a million shares...but the daily volume is around 17MM shares traded. Will my order have a lot of trouble filling, or will it fill but take a while?

I have no AMZN, and obviously this company has nothing but a clear Interstate to drive on. Time to stop dreaming and wishing, and get on with a decent amount.

I got into CARA at around 5. Its upto 23 right now. Big jump of 15% today on FDA news. Still some steam left I feel.
