"Market Correction" for Mutual Funds

With talk about upcoming "Market Corrections", what are some of your strategies to minimize risk with mutual funds? Would some advise to move it into safer plays for the short term, while continue to buy in low on the mid-large caps....? TIA

Here's how I deal with stuff like this and I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just hard on myself.

Ask yourself, "Do I know jack shite about this field?"

Now look at the question you (or I) posed. It's pretty evident you don't know a whole lot about this stuff and that's OK, most Americans don't. I know a little, but not enough to pull off a market timing maneuver that is for sure.

So you're basically asking, "How can I pull off a maneuver that can possibly save, or lose me a bunch of money at some indeterminate time that even experts screw up yet, I know that I know nothing about this field"

Then you say, "You know what, odds are I'm going to screw this all up, so I might as well stay the course."

Or B) devote a nice portion of your life educating yourself on the subject.

I think you're better off doing what you do, and stay invested. If the market "corrects" throw a little more in there to take advantage.

This is what I do. I try to educate myself more and more as I go along, but I have a lot of interests.
