Sorry about the wait time MondayAMQB. I submitted mine last night and got my 0% similarity score almost instantly. Maybe a glitch?

I'll be glad when this class is done. I'm excited that she released the orion assignments for module 7 early!

I think MADM 701 is using ProctorU. You say hello to the mic, take a picture, and show your driver's license at the start of each exam. In the middle of the exam, you will be prompted to scan your desk and room with your webcam.

LSU741852 is correct, MADM 701 and MKT 701 are using proctoring right now and gave an accurate description of proctorio. In this program I have had experience with Proctorio, which you just log in and take it whenever you want and they record you, your screen, and your audio while you are testing. And I have also had experience with ProctorU where you have to schedule an appointment ahead of time and someone watches you live take the test. I find proctorio is the easier more convenient of the two because you can take when you want. Also, it is up to the professor if they will allow you to have books or notes out during the test.

Thanks for sharing! I didn't know you had to schedule with ProctorU. I guess my course uses Proctorio. I like being able to take the test whenever.

Does the ISDS 705 syllabus say he uses ProctorU or is it just on Moodle? Some of the Moodle templates say It uses ProctorU even though it really doesn't.
It was my understanding that the program went away from ProctorU in favor of Proctorio due to fee issues with U.

wolfpack, I'm curious about the same thing. This class is using ProctorU so we'll have to really know the material inside and out to succeed on the tests.

Did you indirectly just admit to cheating on your tests with they are not video proctored?

Lynx, I was referencing the classes I've taken to date that allow textbooks and notes while taking quizzes.

Ahhh, fair point. I don't care either way as I don't really believe GPA is relevant in MBA programs. I wish mine would get rid of them altogether (and I have a 4.0).

MKT 701... 19 pts. for a pretty extensive paper and 75 pts. for a 6 question evaluation?

Everyone wrap up their simulation? We had a rough start but ended up with some respectable numbers.

I have Econ 705 up next. Anybody that recently took it, do we really need to buy the expensive access code book?

In December of 2016 we did not need the access code for ECON 705.

Brent, I was thinking the same thing, that paper seems pretty time consuming for 19 points, and its due Wednesday. We wrapped up our simulation but definitely didn't do to great. I feel like the system still has a couple glitches that need to be worked out.

I'm thinking of pairing BADM 700 with MADM 720 next term? I have never taken 2 courses simultaneously. Is this a good pairing to start?

Aurebelman I will be in MADM 720 this next session as well and I am pairing it with FIN 710 so hope that isn't a bad Idea. I do know that BADM 700 is a pretty easy class and the MADM 720 is now being taught by Kimberly Williams who seems to have great reviews. I am sure you will be fine.

I just took the last exam for MADM 701. Damn thing was tough. I made a 82 which is my second lowest grade on an exam. Really needed to do a little better...

Depending on how my last 2 discussions go will decide if I make an A or B. I feel pretty good about it.

Aurebelman, that is exactly what I didn't want to hear, wish she would have taken us easy this week as far as the exam is concerned. I am in the same situation as you, borderline between an A and B and really hoping for the satisfaction of pulling out an A. What made this exam tough in your opinion?

It was all the theories in the final chapter. Very detailed questions bout them. I had a hard time distinguishing between the shared and distributive theories. I think that came up several times.

I may be the exception this week. The class average for the exam is well above mine. However, I have consistently outperformed the average throughout the class.

I dropped MADM 720 earlier today but reconsidering. Anyone have a syllabus they could send me of Willams 720 course?

I'm thinking of doing a Financial concentration which would make this course obsolete.
