Wolf, we are in the same boat, I need two electives in ap2 to finish the program also. right now it looks like FIN 710(Hsieh), ISDS 705(Lin), and MADM 720(Williams) are the only options. On the rotation of courses it says BADM 790 is supposed to be offered, but its not showing up as an option when you log in to schedule classes.

have you taken madm 710 with Kungu? 2 electives is all I need by can't get the juice on them. Giving williams a shot with 720, but cant figure out what direction to go with in the last one.

paul,i think we took 702 together. it was a fantastic course...if you did it with hayati

Lin is the only one who has taught 705 and everyone has told me it's a fairly easy class. I think his poor reviews all stem from his 702 class.

I took 710 as one of my first courses in the program last August, but it was with Sanjay Menon. Wasn't very hard just a ton of busy work. 2 forum posts per week with reply worth 10 points total, individual project, group project, 4 Proctored tests and weekly learning journals that you submit at the end of the course.

Im in 701 now and I would say that 701 is a little more time consuming as far as busywork. the 710 tests/quizzes were also far less difficult in my opinion

Even though she told us not to, we split up the sections and combined them into one paper today. I'm eager to see how she grades them.

Took the MindTap quiz for chapters 3 and 4 in MADM 752 last night. I read both chapters, took notes, read the summaries and went over Knott's PP slides and her videos where she reviews them. I was very confident I knew the material. After I took the quiz I felt confident. Then saw my score of 53.33%! That means I only got 8 right out of 15. This blew me away! I have never felt so comfortable to then get a bad score. I'm hoping there was some glitch in the quiz that will come out after it closes tonight. Knotts told me she will analyze it.

Would love to hear from anyone else who took the MindTap quiz. I also took the Moodle quiz and got 100% on that.

Lsu we did the same thing. I'm sorry but with everything else she wants, I have zero time to crank out an entire strategy brief every week. We have a zoom meeting this evening to finalize before we submit.

Studied like mad, was confident in my answers and still got a 66% on the MindTap quiz. I completely comprehend the material, but it really seems as if the goal is to prove how tough her class is with obscure questions rather than a true test of understanding. Absurd and a waste of my mental energy. This will likely be the only non-A class for me in the entire program, doubling up every time and finishing in 1 year...

Socal77,

We are in the same boat! I made a 53.33% on my quiz and I was confident in my answers. I emailed her as well, so hopefully there was a glitch in the system. I have earned 100% scores on everything else. I have been upset about my score all weekend, because I have A's in my other courses.

Ouch socal. Hopefully she had some keyed wrong. That happened with a couple of questions on the first MKT quiz.

Scratching 752 off my list of potential electives!

Had a zoom session Friday night and discussed our plan and the current firm. Created a google doc and all just kind of knocked some of the brief since Friday.

Glad I dropped that course on the final day to receive full refund. I absolutely hated the material.

So what's your plan going forward? When are you going to take it?
